Ram Navmi was quite unplanned & was lovely having the kids over . A very entertaining evening. And while I was wrapping up the few knick knacks after everyone had left , a thought that crossed my mind.
We are in some ways like Ram. There are Choices we have that we can make , it’s within our reach to , and yet we can’t , something stops us into taking a different line of action, a different Decision. Just like Ram , many a choices / decisions he made might look all wrong today & yet , he had to go through that. It was in his destiny. Basically , the way I see it - your destiny is planned & no matter what, no matter your thoughts or how hard u want to , u will never be able to make certain choices - coz your destiny is set , and you have to get there. And every choice has to lead you to that destiny.
Is this preplanned ( like we hear from our scriptures on rebirths many a times coz of our past karma’s) or simply the rules of nature & destiny leading us to the final destination for our actions today , that’s very contemplative - in a sense , a mystery. Nevertheless , that our destiny is pre planned , that stands ....
Ram made his Choices , steering the others - towards their destiny & his - No matter that a few Choices did not fit logic or emotions !
If this be the scenario , then , simple funda being - Live life to the fullest , give it your best shot , inspite of Choices / Decisions made, without feeling Sorry for yourself & cursing Destiny, at the end of the day , Destiny is an elusive theme of a very large canvas, where Strokes constantly create !!!
