These are lovely lines written by one of my kids for Mother's Day , Tanya - told her to put it on FB and she goes - no can - it's for the the very special and on FB will have to tag many incase they get upset:)
Mother
The one who fills our days with rainbow lights,
Fairytales and sweetdreams nights..
Gentle kiss wipes all our tears,
A tight hug that eases our fears..
She gives the gift of life to us,
And then in love, sets us free..
No words can thank her for her tender care,
The endless love, and being there..
She was there when we take our first little steps,
She pushes and prods,encourages and guides,
And picks us up again when we fall..
She tied our shoes, tucked us to bed,
She needed so much, but puts us first instead..
She can always walk an extra mile,
Just to see her child smile,
She'll work her fingers to the bone,
To make house a home..
She is the first teacher and guide,
And will always stay by your side..Her love is like an endless earth, the bottomless sea,
an infinite blue sky,
She is one who waters our roots strong into the ground,
While gives us our wings to fly..
She stands for us, for us she lives,
She is a mother afterall,
Never takes, just gives..
