Sprint of 2011 towards 2012!

An apt line for the year 2011, Wherever I lay my Hat , thats my Home. ! Travel bug hit Us and How!!!! Notwithstanding ofcourse, the arrival of friends and family, and our regular lunches & dinners with all our loved ones ! An impetuous sprint through the year, which will make even the best Rollercoaster & Marathon, seems arid!

A pre birthday celebration, began with sun soaked Goa to being beachbums at Menorca , Spain. Winter break at Indore & a quick trip to Dubai by Dad followed by the small and totally out of control chaotic bunch of 5 & 1 stable Patnaik family member to China, Macau & HongKong. Visit to the scenic Cotswold region, a weekend at Cardiff, South Wales with the most amazing culinary delight of Fish & Chips at Barry Island , in our sojourn at London! Dad takes off to US of A, for a solo break! Back home & a mega quick trip to Delhi & IHM Aurangabad with a 2nd impromptu jaunt at Indore! Phewwwwww...... I definitely need another holiday asap to survive this crazy onslaught of being on the Move! J)))))

Difficult to name everyone we met , partied with , the masti & badmashi & suffice to say , everyone who was a part of this travel/year with me has seen the happenings as photographic memories on FB (did miss out on capturing a few moments though, which is next years agenda!!) & as writing on the travel Blog!! Been a perfect amalgamation of family & friends .... new, old & vintage! Time, when Surprises never failed to Surprise me !

This year,  the unimaginable, showed its existence. Where, a line for Life held True...... Dear Life , When I said "Can my day get any Worse ", it was a rhetorical question, not a challenge. However, When I said " Can my day get any Better", you answered with abundance & indulgence !  

One has lived every Moment to the optimum & I truly have no words to express the heartfelt warmth, Care & Love , towards each and everyone who was a part of this year , known & unknown, signifying the Essence of Living Life to the Fullest !

2011's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, cruising headlong into 2012 ,with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us. Wish you all another astounding year  , may all your Dreams come true ( the realistic one's that is !! J)). Cheers to Life .......... to Love, Peace, Health & Happiness engulfed in Laughter!

Does one lead thru Life by Choice or Fate ????

Arre baba , heavy duty question & one thats at constant play. Everyone goes through this dialogue at some time or the other . And even I decided to start a conversation , with myself. Which also spreads, to a few friends & family, who had their own views.

Every perspective, depends on an individual's, Knowledge, Experience & Wisdom. Ahhh ... Three , the auspicious number. Manifestation of the universe , Energy, Nature & Rhythm. Trinity , the order of the universe, Brahma (Creator) , Vishnu (Preserver) , Mahesh ( Destroyer). The three phases of Life, the three paths to Self Realisation, the three qualities of the Human Nature, the three types of Breath, the three division of Time & Day, the three mystic symbol of AUM, the three aspect of Human (mind, body, intellect). The three layers of Nature. Shiva's Third eye, when that opens, it shall Destroy Ignorance & seep u with Knowledge. And, my Birth number is also 3 !!! J

The halcyon number, which in a sense is the essence of an energy, that guides us.

This make me wonder, if every aspect that navigates is in a set of three, then , there was something amiss in the question. Some thought process and the third component comes forth. Destiny. Now it's complete. Choice, Fate & Destiny.

One has Knowledge , however , its with the Awareness of your own Experience , that Wisdom will come forward. Only then the process is complete.

Similarly, Fate is the passage that links, Choice & Destiny. Fate throws Choices at us. Our choices forge our path to a destiny, a destination which we can only visualize , but can never be sure off.

From the number of Choices that we have, we shall pick & choose, depending on a situation, from our own calling & strength. Eventually left with one Choice , we shall take the plunge. Our Choice guides us to our Destiny.

Fate is Good Luck , when our choice works towards the goal we had envisioned. Else , it is Bad Luck, such is the general thought process of most of us , isnt it ?

In simple terms, when fate challenges us with choices, our selection determines the passage of a smooth or a turbulent Destiny( the Unkown).

Smooth passage, Luck is by your side. Turbulent, there is a lesson that life is teaching you , preparing you for the next set of Choices that Fate shall propel at us. The ability be to recognize the divinity, the blessing , the grace , which is your shield.

Its a pattern , a canvas .....where we see just fragments of pieces with the passage of time , the entire gambit is for us to just Envision , Dream ..... how Fate & Choices direct you towards that eventuality of your Destiny is something which no one can Comprehend.

At the end of it all, Destiny is an unchartered destination.

Just because.....

Just because you want to Hurt somebody, doesn't mean you will or can .

Just because you want to Upset somebody, doesn't mean you will or can.

Just because you want to Anger somebody, doesn't mean you will or can.

Just because you want to Deceive somebody, doesn't mean you will or can.

Just because you want to Manipulate somebody , doesn't mean you will or can.

Just because you want to Insult someone , doesn't mean you will or can.

Just because you want somebody to be Jealous, doesn't mean they will or can.

Just because you want somebody to Love you, doesn't mean they will or can.

Just because you want somebody to Respect you, doesn't mean they will or can.

Just because you want somebody to Appreciate you, doesn't mean they will or can.

Just because you want somebody to Acknowledge you, doesn't mean they will or can.

Just because I want you to Read these lines, doesn't mean you will or can J

I have always wondered about Kanya puja during Navratri & this made lots of sense ... so here goes .... simple put ....

 

KANYA  means virgin. Man's soul is virgin. That virginity cannot be contaminated. Its pristine beauty and glory cannot be sullied.But you can't see the virgin soul; you don't know what it is or where it is in you. That purity of soul is the KANYA, which is the form of the Mother. Kanya represents the innocent & pure spirit, And, your inner being , which you cannot and will not see.

 

In Devi Tantra, the tantric system of the cosmic mother, the virgin is considered to be the true replica of the Cosmic Mother.

 

Kanya puja , is Devi puja. Devi , the Cosmic Mother. Devi means Luminous, illuminated, lustrous, the Light that is Within.

 

There resides a Kanya within all of us , a Devi , within all of us.

 

It's the concept. One does not have to prove it. The replica of fear is a tiger. The replica of greed is money, The replica of passion is woman. And so , the replica of Devi , the Cosmic Mother is Kanya.

This made a lot of sense , so here goes ...... simply put ....

Everything is predetermined. Who determines this , we dont know. If things were not predetermined , there would be chaos in the Universe. The moon & the Sun would rise at their own will, the Ganga would flow from Calcutta towards the Himalayas.

Karma , is also part of destiny , as are self-will, sel-effort, even ego & patience. Everything comes as a part of our destiny, but within the rules !

The thought that I am free & I can do anything is not true. Everyone & everything is bound by some rules. Ritam cha Satyam cha, say the Upanishads. The universe depends on the 2 rules of Ritam & Satyam. RITA means Natural law. SATYA means the Reality. An incident happens; Satya is what happened & Rita is the rule according to which it has happened.
