There could be many ways of looking at this ... From an abstract point of view, the first thought that springs to mind is: .... Life always finds a way!
Nothing more obstinate, resilient, & indefatigable, than the life-impulse.
The impulse to exist. To be.
The smallest foothold will suffice, for the life-force to find its way in, & take root.
In nature, essentially, there is no such question such as To be or not to be.
The pain, power, and profundity, of that choice, is limited to the human species.
