Folders:
PC/ notebook main Folders banate banate , decided to make folders in my head too!!!
Different situation , different moods, different friends/family ..... a different folder for just about everything happening in my Life!
Only one folder is opened at a given time , work done on that , and as need be , work continues or folder is closed. No folder is allowed to overlap another, warna confusion ke chances jyada ho jate hain!!!
As things get taken care of , they are sent to the Recycle bin depending on their utility factor. It is the deleting the folders from the Recycle bin of the mind , which is not the easiest..... takes its time & effort!! Working on that , these days!!!:-)
Music is Food for the Soul:
Music , Music & more music. Music for every occasion. It is a therapy for the soul. Brings a smile , no matter what!
Dance your Blues away:
Whoever coined this term, knew exactly what he/she was talking about. Just the love for good music & dancing, puts such amazing stillness , to be able to let your energy be released in the mist of music, which clearly begins my moving your being , to foot tapping , let your hair loose & just enjoy that moment of total freedom & bliss. Let yourself flow with the music , coz , u gotta shake shake shake .... & let the blues away!!! Body & Mind , totally spent !
Walk, the best Stress Buster: This is how I feel , maybe coz I love to walk!!
Some believe in retail therapy , or shopping , or vigorous excersice , yoga , meditation , chanting , and am sure a whole lot more ...
However, when i walk, its an amalgamation of sorts. Listening to my own heartbeat or the beats of my shoes on a rough surface , singing or chanting in my mind ... all of this. And, in more than one ways , always helps me think straight , to remove the clutter which is there , slowly & steadily, with every brisk step I take, the Mind gets a clarity. And after a while, it is just listening to the stillness around!!!
Sleep Easy:
Growing up , we always listened to music while studying. We would hum the song and read. However, in some time , the music would engulf us, trap us in its cocoon, filtering any other noise that might distract us. Music would become a hummm in the background with our total Focus on what we were studying. Thats how we cleared all our exams ... & very well too , if i might add!! ;-)
Even today , my Focus on the task at hand is so much better if music is playing in the background.
When I am tired & need that Power Nap , which could be from 5 minutes to about half hour, I switch on the TV, or play music...... the sound is like a lullaby which puts me in the slumber in seconds, Up in a short while , totally relaxed and ready to take on the world!!! ( maybe that why my dear sister said she would pull this chapter from my book on relaxed sleeping while totally stressed!! ... She tried it , kept the TV on & tells me slept like a baby through the night!!! :-))
There are a lot of things that shall touch your Mind, it is the moments that touch your Heart that shall Remain with you Forever!
